S. Stefano Prato Hospital: COVID19 emergency
In order to cope with the epidemic peak of COVID19, the Azienda Usl Toscana Centro (Local Health Authority of Tuscany Centre) has ordered the construction of two new wings, to be used for patients treatments during the period of greatest emergency. The two areas were identified within the existing structure of the S. Stefano Hospital, located on the ground floor with a total covered surface area of approximately 820 square metres.

The special feature of the project was that it was developed at the same time as the construction of the building, to allow the delivery time to be reduced as much as possible.
In a record time of about 45 days, it was possible to realise the two finished extensions in structural, architectural and plant engineering terms, ready to receive the first patients.
