Il Poggio d'Oro Tourist Hotel Residence

The RTA "Il Poggio d'Oro" is located on the hill right above the town of Castiglione della Pescaia, with a magnificent panoramic view of the gulf, stretching from Castiglione to Argentario Mountain; on the horizon you can see the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. The complex consists of six buildings with 44 apartments, a building dedicated to the reception and the staff to assist residents, a bar and a restaurant directly overlooking the three swimming pools with panoramic views. The flats vary in size from 40 to 90 square metres, with private gardens and terraces. The buildings have been constructed respecting the local architectural tradition, with façades featuring parts in local stone, processed in "opus incertum", parts plastered in ochre and antique pink, and roofing in traditional roofing tiles. The landscaping intervention is aimed at maintaining the characteristics of the forest vegetation safeguarding the agricultural environment, the historical road network, its landscape views and its significant sites.
